Position Overview:
The IT Technician will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our IT systems, providing technical support to staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of all IT equipment. This role is crucial for keeping our technology running efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and network systems.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and connectivity.
- Provide technical support and assistance to staff, including troubleshooting and resolving IT problems.
- Monitor and manage IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of network and server systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, processes, and support requests.
- Perform routine backups and system updates to ensure data integrity and system stability.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement and improve IT solutions and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and hardware.
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Proficiency in operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
